New Delhi: The Central Government has announced the appointment of eight officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS) from Uttarakhand to various key positions.
According to an official release, IPS P Renuka Devi has been posted to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The list of other officers assigned important posts includes:

IPS Barinder Jeet Singh has been assigned to the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).

IPS Senthil Avudai Krishna Raj S has been moved to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

IPS Janmejaya P Kailash has been sent to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).

IPS Rajiv Swaroop and IPS Arun Mohan Joshi will both join the Border Security Force (BSF).

IPS Mukhtar Mohsin has been appointed to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

IPS Neeru Garg has been posted to the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D).
The decision has been taken by the government to leverage the expertise of these officers in strengthening the operations of critical agencies and enhancing national security and law enforcement.
