Lucknow: In a significant move to enhance administrative efficiency and implement reforms across key departments, the Uttar Pradesh government has appointed several recently promoted IAS officers to key positions. These appointments aim to strengthen governance and streamline departmental functions. Among the notable promotions, IAS Dr. Nitin Bansal (2009 batch) has been appointed as the Uttar Pradesh Commercial Tax Commissioner. He previously served as the State Commercial Tax Commissioner In-Charge.

IAS Bhanu Chandra Goswami (2009 batch) has been named the new State Relief Commissioner, Consolidation Commissioner, and Secretary of the Revenue Department. Goswami had earlier held these roles in an acting capacity along with serving as Special Secretary of the Revenue Department.
IAS Rakesh Kumar Mishra (2009 batch) takes over as the State Milk Commissioner after serving as Milk Commissioner in charge.
IAS Ramakant Pandey (2009 batch) has been promoted to Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam (Urban), a position he previously held on an interim basis.
IAS Markande Shahi (2009 batch) has been appointed as the State Labour Commissioner. His new role is expected to play a crucial part in promoting worker welfare and ensuring compliance with labour laws.
IAS Avinash Krishna Singh (2009 batch) has been promoted to Director General of Uttar Pradesh Technical Education, transitioning from his interim role.
IAS Rajesh Prakash (2009 batch) is now the Director General of the State Fisheries Department, after previously overseeing the department on a temporary basis.
IAS Manvendra Singh (2010 batch) has been confirmed as the Director General of the State AYUSH Department, a role he held on an interim basis earlier.
