Agartala: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the government of Tripura has transferred and posted multiple Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers with immediate effect. The General Administration (Personnel & Training) Department issued a notification outlining the new appointments, aimed at improving governance and enhancing public service delivery across the state.
According to the official notification, IAS Upendra Jamatia has been transferred from Supdt. Engineer, RD Circle-II, Gomati District, Udaipur, to Additional District Magistrate (ADM) & Collector (PPs), Sepahijala District, Bishramganj.
Other key transfers include:
IAS Sumit K. Pandey (2020 batch) – Transferred from ADM & Collector (PPs), Khowai, to ADM & Collector (PPs), Dhalai District, Ambassa.
IAS Mihir Kanti Gop – Appointed as ADM & Collector (PPs), North Tripura, Dharmanagar, from his previous role as Chief Engineer, Urban Development Department, Agartala.
IAS Rinku Lather (2020 batch) – Posted as ADM & Collector, Sepahijala District, Bishramganj.
The reshuffle, approved by J. Datta, Under Secretary to the Government of Tripura, is part of the state’s efforts to enhance administrative efficiency and strengthen governance across multiple districts.
