Hyderabad: As part of the bureaucratic reshuffle in the state, the government of Telangana has announced the transfers and fresh postings of eight officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS). As per the official order, IPS. P. Vishwa Prasad (2005 batch) has been appointed as Additional Commissioner of Police (CP), Crimes.
Other notable transfers include:
IPS Ch. Sridhar (2006 batch IPS) has taken charge as Superintendent of Police (SP), Intelligence.
IPS B. Naveen Kumar (2008 batch) has taken charge as the SP in the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
IPS B. Ram Reddy has also been made SP, CID.
IPS Gajurao Bhupal (2008 batch) has been posted as Joint CP of Traffic Cyberabad.
IPS D. Joel Davis (2010 batch) has been appointed as Joint CP of Hyderabad.
IPS Sirisetti Sankeerth (2020 batch) has been posted as the Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to the Governor.
IPS S. Chaitanya Kumar (2015 batch) has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Special Branch (SB), Hyderabad.
These transfers are part of the government’s initiative to improve administrative efficiency and strengthen law enforcement across the state.
