New Delhi: In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Government of India has transferred 25 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers across various ministries and departments, including IAS Keshav Kumar Pathak. This move is aimed at enhancing governance efficiency and placing experienced officers in key roles across sectors.
The reshuffle also includes the promotion of 15 IAS officers to the rank of additional secretary. As per the official notification, senior IAS Keshav Kumar Pathak, from the 1990 batch of the Bihar cadre, has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat.
Prior to this appointment, Pathak served as the Chairman of the Bihar Revenue Board. His new role comes under central deputation — a practice that allows senior IAS officers to serve at the Centre to lend their expertise to important national initiatives.
