New Delhi: Raj Kumar Dubey has taken additional charge as the Director of Marketing at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). He currently serves as the Director (Human Resources) on the BPCL board and brings with him over 35 years of rich experience in business operations and human capital development.
An alumnus of NIT Allahabad with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Dubey also holds an MBA from the International Centre for Promotion of Enterprises (ICPE), in Slovenia.
Known for his expertise in leadership development, human resources planning, succession strategies, performance appraisals, training effectiveness, and experiential learning, he has significantly contributed to BPCL’s HR transformation.
Before joining BPCL, Dubey held key leadership positions at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), where he served for over 12 years. As Executive Director and State Head in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, he was responsible for the marketing and operations of petroleum products.
He also played a pivotal role in building IOCL’s Retail Academy as Chief General Manager, driving knowledge and skills development through innovative learning strategies, blended training models, and digital platforms.
With his diverse experience across HR and operations, Dubey is well-positioned to steer BPCL’s marketing strategies in alignment with evolving energy market dynamics. His appointment underlines BPCL’s continued focus on leadership excellence and strategic alignment in its pursuit of energy solutions for the future.
