New Delhi: Technology and software engineering company Ascendion has announced a strategic collaboration with ServiceNow under its Consulting and Implementation Partner Program. The move is aimed at helping businesses operationalise artificial intelligence (AI) across critical IT and business workflows.
The partnership comes amid growing demand for more practical applications of AI in enterprise operations. ServiceNow’s platform, known for streamlining IT and business workflows, will now be integrated with Ascendion’s AI-focused engineering capabilities to address this demand.
Focus Areas of Collaboration
Ascendion’s integration with ServiceNow will focus on six key areas:
AI-enabled services: Applying AI for internal agents, customer support, and employee services to improve workflow efficiency.
Streamlined IT operations: Enhancing IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM).
Business process automation: Digitising functions like Customer Service Management, Field Service Management, Source-to-Pay, and Procure-to-Pay workflows.
Employee experience: Enabling smoother HR and talent workflows to improve internal service delivery.
End-to-end modernisation: Supporting transformation in areas like procurement, field service, and customer interactions.
Low-code/no-code application development: Utilising ServiceNow’s App Engine to support faster, scalable software builds.
Strategy to Scale AI in Enterprises
According to Ascendion’s Chief Growth Officer for Global Growth Markets, Dharam Gurbani, the partnership is not just about introducing AI but about embedding it deeply into business operations. He noted that using their AI engineering frameworks, Ascendion aims to deliver ServiceNow-based solutions that generate measurable business outcomes.
From ServiceNow’s perspective, the partnership brings added strength to its global implementation efforts. Ira Simon, senior director of partner strategy and programs at ServiceNow, stated that Ascendion’s engineering expertise would help extend the platform’s impact across new markets.
