Tec-Verse 2025 is positioned not just as an exhibition but as a launchpad for next-generation Indian technologies with global relevance.
Krishnan emphasised that MeitY is “building compute infrastructure, foundation models and applications to address real-world societal needs,” and highlighted that institutions like C-DAC, C-MET and SAMEER are enabling a transition from a service-led to a product-driven economy.
“These innovations address real-world challenges in healthcare, agriculture, telecom, and more. It’s a unique opportunity for industry, startups, ministries, and users to explore and adopt these technologies,” he said.
The opening day witnessed participation from over 1,000 attendees, including senior government officials, industry leaders, startups and academic researchers.
Tec-Verse 2025 marked several key milestones, which include:
- The launch of four new tech products.
- Eight technology transfers (ToTs).
- The signing of 15 MoUs by the R&D organisations with industry partners.
BEL, TCS, SCL-Mohali, L&T Limited and Voltix Semicon Pvt. Ltd. signed MoUs in critical areas such as Industry 4.0, India Sovereign Cloud Platform, LTCC package development and advanced next-gen technologies.
Highlighting the breadth of innovation, MeitY’s Additional Secretary Amitesh Sinha said Tec-Verse showcases over 150 advanced technologies spanning domains such as quantum computing, artificial intelligence, 6G communication, power electronics, robotics, UAVs, EMI/EMC solutions and medical technologies.
“It marks a transformative phase in Indian research,” he said, inviting industry stakeholders to explore collaboration opportunities.
Organised jointly by C-DAC, C-MET, and SAMEER, Tec-Verse 2025 underscores MeitY’s commitment to co-creating a research ecosystem aligned with the goals of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) and the broader Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
