Bhopal: Returning from a seven-day official tour of Dubai and Spain, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced investment proposals worth over Rs 11,000 crore through 22 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) signed with international companies.
Key deals include Rs 3,800 crore from Spain’s Submer Technologies to build a data centre in the state. Dubai-based BMW Developers pledged Rs 2,750 crore, while Conares Metal committed Rs 640 crore. Span Communications and Alpha Mia will invest Rs 500 crore each. Saraf Group and Reliance Defence will invest Rs 250 crore each.
The tour focused on economic partnerships and cultural exchange. A major highlight was the announcement of talks with Emirates Airlines to start a direct Bhopal–Dubai flight. Air India and IndiGo are also considering new international routes to and from Madhya Pradesh. Under the state’s aviation policy, international carriers will get Rs 15 lakh per flight as an incentive.
Madhya Pradesh also signed an MoU with Spanish film producers to promote the state as a global filming hub. CM Yadav said this would boost tourism and create jobs.
In a push to modernize agriculture, the state will send cotton farmers abroad for training. This will help them meet global production standards and improve income.
Dr. Yadav said the tour marked a turning point in making Madhya Pradesh a preferred destination for global investment, innovation, and cultural collaboration.
The state now aims to turn these agreements into on-ground projects to drive growth and employment.
