Assam Govt Transfers Two IAS Officers; IAS Kanika Rathee Made Deputy Secretary, GAD

Dispur: As part of a bureaucratic reshuffle in the state, the Assam government has transferred two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. As a result, IAS Kanika Rathee (2022 batch) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the General Administration Department (GAD), Government of Assam.

Rathee has been relieved of her current position as the Co-District Commissioner of Nazira.

IAS Pratibha Meshram has now replaced Rathee as the new co-district commissioner of Nazira. Meshram previously worked as the co-district commissioner of Margherita.
