Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday launched an integrated monitoring system for Atal residential schools at the Rozgar Mahakumbh 2025 in Lucknow. The initiative introduces a digital platform to oversee 18 Atal residential schools across the state, with a focus on improving transparency, efficiency, and accountability in school management.
The system is based on an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) framework housed at the Atal Command Centre. It enables real-time monitoring of attendance, academic progress, staff records, finances, and student profiles, while also integrating CCTV feeds. According to officials, this digital shift is intended to reduce manual interventions and create a streamlined mechanism for evaluating school operations.
Atal residential schools primarily serve children of labourers registered with the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. Around 18,000 students are expected to benefit from free accommodation, meals, and structured education under the scheme. The state government has positioned the schools as a model to provide access to modern education and basic facilities for children from economically vulnerable families.
During the event, the Chief Minister also announced the extension of a similar integrated campus model to the basic education system. In the first phase, 57 Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Composite Schools are being established with the objective of strengthening elementary education. Additionally, the government launched the “Shram Nyay Setu” portal, an industrial tribunal website, and an e-court portal to facilitate time-bound justice for workers, expanding the scope of digital platforms in governance.
