Chandigarh: In a recent bureaucratic reshuffle, the Haryana government has assigned new responsibilities to two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Accordingly, IAS Shekhar Vidyarthi (2004 batch) has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of Managing Director (MD) of the Jhajjar district.
Vidyarthi currently serves as the Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Haryana in the Archives Department and as Director General of Fire Services. He will continue to hold his existing post.
Simultaneously, IAS Hema Sharma (2010 batch), currently the Additional Chief Electoral Officer of Haryana, has been assigned the responsibility of adjudicating cases before the Court of the Chief Settlement Commissioner, Haryana.Â
