New Delhi: Concord Control Systems Limited has secured a major contract worth Rs 139.32 crore from Indian Railways for the supply of locomotive wireless control systems.
The order has been awarded to the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Advanced Rail Controls Private Limited.
The contract covers the supply, installation and commissioning of locomotive wireless control systems, a critical technology aimed at improving operational efficiency, safety and reliability in railway operations.
The project is expected to be executed within 18 months from the start date.
Commenting on the development, Nitin Jain, Joint Managing Director of Concord Control Systems, said the order represents a key milestone in the modernisation of Indian Railways and reflects the company’s focus on delivering advanced technologies aligned with national infrastructure goals.
The latest order strengthens Concord’s role in railway infrastructure upgrades and highlights its expertise in embedded electronics and wireless control solutions.
An RDSO-approved original equipment manufacturer, the company supplies advanced electrical and electronic systems for Indian Railways and supports initiatives such as Gati Shakti through in-house research, testing and manufacturing capabilities.
With growing investments in railway infrastructure and technology-led upgrades, Concord Control Systems is positioned to play a larger role in enhancing rail safety and efficiency while expanding its footprint in the sector.
