Jammu:Â Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha interacted with IAS officer trainees of the 2025 batch during their five-day visit to Jammu under the Bharat Darshan Programme.
The trainees are undergoing Phase-I training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie.
During the interaction, the lieutenant governor shared insights on governance, leadership, and public service. He spoke about Jammu and Kashmir’s transformation in recent years and highlighted progress across sectors such as infrastructure, development, and public welfare.
The visit is part of the Winter Study Tour designed to give young officers first-hand exposure to the region’s administrative and socio-cultural environment. As part of the program, the trainees are scheduled to visit the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine, the Salal Hydroelectric Power Project, the Bari Brahmana SIDCO Industrial Area, the India–Pakistan border, and key locations in Jammu city.
The tour aims to strengthen the officers’ understanding of field realities and enhance their professional orientation through direct engagement with the region.
