Dehradun: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Uttarakhand government has transferred 15 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers and assigned them new responsibilities across key departments. Accordingly, IPS Tripti Bhatt (2013 batch), has been appointed Additional Secretary, Home and Prisons Department, and also posted as SP, Fire Service.
The list of other transfers includes
IPS Neeru Garg (2005 batch) has been posted as Inspector General, Fire Service.
IPS Karan Singh Nagnyal (2005 batch) has been appointed Inspector General, Prisons.
IPS Arun Mohan Joshi (2006 batch) has been appointed Inspector General, CID.
IPS Nivedita Kukreti (2008 batch) has been assigned as Deputy Inspector General, State Disaster Response Force.
IPS Krishna Kumar VK relieved of CID responsibilities and assigned Police Telecommunications
IPS Mukhtar Mohsin has been appointed Inspector General, Government Railway Police.
IPS Yogendra Singh Rawat (2013 batch) has been posted as Inspector General, Personnel and Police Headquarters.
IPS Sunil Kumar Meena has been removed from Inspector General, GRP responsibilities.
IPS Ramchandra Rajguru has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Police Headquarters.
IPS Sarita Dobal has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Anti Terrorism Squad.
IPS Yashwant Singh has been appointed Inspector General, IRB First, Ramnagar.
IPS Harish Verma has been posted as Commander, 40th Battalion PAC, Haridwar.
IPS Vimmi Sachdeva Raman has been relieved of the Police Headquarters charge and continues with Provisioning and Modernization.
IPS Nilesh Anand Bharne appointed Inspector General, Provincial Armed Constabulary.
The government is expected to issue further operational instructions following the reshuffle.
