Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has granted in situ promotion to three senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of the 1996 batch to the rank of Additional Chief Secretary (ACS). IAS Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Urban Housing Department, is one of the officers among the promotees.
The other two officers who have been promoted are
IAS Saswata Mishra-Â Currently serving as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Odisha, with additional responsibilities including the Finance Department.
IAS Vishal Kumar Dev- Currently serving as the Prinicipal Secretary in the Energy Department.
The promotion places these officers in the Apex Grade (Level-17) of the IAS pay matrix, the highest level in the state administrative hierarchy.
