Gandhinagar: Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd. has appointed IAS Jenu Devan as an Additional Director (Government Nominee) on its Board.
A 2006-batch officer, Devan brings significant experience in administration, governance, and finance within the Gujarat government.
Currently, Devan serves as the director of Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited and Gujarat Fibre Grid Network Limited. Over the years, he has held several key administrative roles, including District Development Officer in Dahod and Narmada, Deputy Municipal Commissioner in Vadodara, and District Collector of Banaskantha.
He has also served in senior leadership positions such as Managing Director of Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited and Secretary (Expenditure) in the Finance Department of the Government of Gujarat. In addition, he has worked as Superintendent of Stamps and Inspector General (Registration), handling critical regulatory responsibilities.
Devan’s appointment is expected to strengthen GIPCL’s governance framework and improve coordination with the state government.
