Kolkata: The West Bengal Sports and Youth Welfare department has notified the launch of a Banglar Yuba Sathi helpdesk at Nabanna.
This helpdesk will automatically work under the aegis of this department.
The helpdesk will observe and supervise the entire procedure of the program as well as address any complaints registered thereof.
More than 84 lakh have applied for this Banglar Yuba Sathi project to date.
A total of 65 lakh youth have applied offline blockwise, while another 19 lakh have applied online.
The helpdesk, with its helpline number, will address many of these questions raised by these youth.
The helpline number is 6292248888, where even WhatsApp will be applicable.
Applicants can track the progress of these applications through this helpdesk.
The helpdesk will be open daily from 1030 am to 530 pm except Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
The notification clearly mentions that this status quo will continue till any further notice.
The department has also notified that all applications related to Banglar Yuba Sathi will be processed via a specific email ID.
The notification mentions this email ID, too, so that there is transparency and date storage.
The notification has been sent to the Principal Secretary of the Adivasi Development Department, Principal Secretary of GTA, all DMs, KMC Municipal Commissioner, District Youth officials and Sports department officials.
