Noida, May 21 (APAC Media): Diversified conglomerate ITC Ltd on Thursday reported a 6% year-on-year rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 5,470 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2026, supported by steady performance across its core businesses.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 5,161 crore in the year-ago period, according to a regulatory filing.
The company reported a strong rise in consolidated revenue from operations for the quarter at Rs 23,821.48 crore, up 16.9% from Rs 20,376.36 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Gross revenue from the sale of products and services stood at Rs 23,625.69 crore, compared with Rs 20,176.41 crore in the year-ago period, reflecting robust year-on-year growth.
“Accordingly, the gross revenue from sale of products and services and excise duty for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026, as well as the inventory value as of that date, have been impacted by a sharp rise in excise duty and are not strictly comparable with previous periods,†the company said.
The board of directors has recommended a final dividend of Rs 8 per share for FY26. The record date for determining shareholder eligibility has been fixed at May 27, 2026.
The FMCG–Others segment reported a healthy uptick, with revenue rising to Rs 6,352.41 crore compared with Rs 5,503.33 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The Paperboards, Paper & Packaging business posted a marginal increase, with revenue inching up to Rs 2,228.61 crore from Rs 2,188.69 crore a year earlier.
In contrast, the agribusiness segment witnessed a decline, reporting revenue of Rs 3,166.65 crore versus Rs 3,694.64 crore in the same quarter last year.
OVERALL, COMPANY PERFORMANCE
The company reported a resilient performance during the year despite a challenging macroeconomic and operating environment.
For FY26, gross revenue rose 10.1% year-on-year to Rs 80,867.49 crore, while EBITDA increased 4.9% to Rs 25,208.22 crore. In the second half of the year, growth momentum improved, with gross revenue and EBITDA increasing 12.2% and 7.5%, respectively.
Profit before exceptional items and tax for the year stood at Rs 26,951.47 crore. Earnings per share (EPS) were reported at Rs 16.20, compared with Rs 16.07 in the previous year.
Key Highlights
The FMCG–Others segment delivered a robust performance during the quarter, with Q4 segment revenue rising 15% year-on-year (14% YoY excluding Sresta) and segment results increasing 51% YoY. EBITDA margin expanded by approximately 200 basis points year-on-year to 11% (excluding Sresta).

For the full year, segment revenue grew 10.1% year-on-year, or 11.3% excluding notebooks, while segment results increased 14% YoY. The company reported strong growth across key categories, including staples, biscuits, snacks, frozen snacks, noodles, dairy, premium personal wash, homecare, and agarbatti.
The notebooks category witnessed a smart rebound in the second half of the year, despite continued low-priced paper imports and opportunistic activity by local and regional players.
The premium portfolio and new generation channels continued to perform strongly, supported by sustained competitive levels of trade and marketing investments aimed at driving growth and maintaining market position.
The digital-first and organic portfolio maintained strong momentum, growing around 60% YoY, with annual recurring revenue (ARR) crossing Rs 1,350 crore.
