Noida, May 21 (APAC Media): JSW Cement on Thursday reported a 2,131% year-on-year surge in its consolidated net profit for the March quarter of FY2025-26, at Rs 361.65 crore, compared with Rs 16.21 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, the company said.
Shares of JSW Cement rose nearly 6% to Rs 128.15 on the BSE. On the NSE, the stock gained 5.97% to Rs 128.10 during intraday trade at 2:40 PM.
The company reported revenue of Rs 1,895 crore in the fourth quarter of FY2025–26, marking an 11% year-on-year increase from Rs 1,709 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
The board of directors has recommended a dividend of ₹0.50 per equity share of ₹10 face value, amounting to 5% for the financial year ended March 31, 2026.
In a regulatory filing, the company stated that the dates of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, as well as the record date and dividend payment schedule, will be announced in due course, subject to shareholder approval.
Meanwhile, JSW Cement reported an operating EBITDA of Rs 365 crore for the quarter, representing a 46% year-on-year increase. The company’s operating EBITDA margin stood at 19.3% during the period.
JSW Cement reported net debt of Rs 3,635 crore as of March 31, 2026.
Q4 FY26 Consolidated Financial & Operational Performance
The company reported total sales volume of 3.99 million tonnes in the fourth quarter of FY2025–26, up 7% year-on-year from 3.73 million tonnes in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
The JSW reported a consolidated operational and financial performance for the fourth quarter of FY2025–26, with total volume sold rising 7% year-on-year to 3.99 million tonnes.
Cement volumes stood at 2.35 million tonnes, up 12% from 2.10 million tonnes in Q4 FY2024–25, while Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) sales increased 5% year-on-year to 1.57 million tonnes, compared with 1.49 million tonnes in the year-ago period.
Consolidated Financial and Operational Performance for FY2026
Revenue from operations rose 11% year-on-year to Rs 1,895 crore during the quarter. Operating EBITDA grew 46% year-on-year to Rs 365 crore, translating into an EBITDA per tonne of Rs 916. Adjusted for forex losses, operating EBITDA stood at Rs 378.4 crore, or Rs 950 per tonne.
The company’s operating EBITDA margin expanded to 19.3% in Q4 FY2025–26 from 14.6% in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. Total EBITDA, including other income, came in at Rs 385.6 crore for the quarter.
JSW Cement said it continues to advance its expansion programme aimed at building a pan-India presence, targeting 46.0 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of grinding capacity and 13.04 MTPA of clinker capacity.
The company commissioned the first phase of its Nagaur integrated unit in Rajasthan during Q4 FY2025–26, comprising 3.3 MTPA of clinker capacity and 2.5 MTPA of grinding capacity. Work on the waste heat recovery system (WHRS) and an additional 1.0 MTPA grinding capacity at the Nagaur facility is nearing completion.
To further enhance utilisation of the Nagaur clinker line and improve self-sufficiency, the board has approved an additional 2.5 MTPA cement grinding capacity at the site. Post-expansion, total grinding capacity at the Nagaur unit will rise to 6.0 MTPA. The project entails an estimated investment of Rs 430 crore.
