Vijayawada, May 28 (APAC Media): The National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation.
The MoU aims to promote digital commerce adoption among micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across Andhra Pradesh.Â
The agreement was signed during the MSME Growth Summit 2026 held in Vijayawada under the TEAM Initiative.
The MoU was signed by V. Suresh Babu, Zonal General Manager of NSIC’s Hyderabad Zone, and Viswa M, Chief Executive Officer of the AP MSME Development Corporation. The signing ceremony was presided by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Under the partnership, both organisations will jointly work to strengthen digital capabilities and improve market access for MSMEs in the state. The collaboration will focus on creating awareness about digital commerce platforms, conducting capacity-building and training programmes, supporting MSME onboarding onto e-commerce platforms, and developing a strong digital business ecosystem.
According to NSIC, the initiative under the TEAM framework aims to accelerate technology adoption and digital inclusion among small businesses. The partnership is expected to enhance entrepreneurial growth, improve market connectivity, and enable MSMEs to benefit from emerging digital trade opportunities.
