New Delhi, June 15 (APAC Media): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of IAS Mrunmai Shashank Joshi as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance.
Joshi is a 2013 batch IAS officer of the Kerala cadre.
She has been appointed under the Central Staffing Scheme on a lateral shift basis for a tenure up to 21 March 2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
An alumnus of the University of Oxford, Joshi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s in Public Policy.
During her career, she has served in several key administrative roles, including State Mission Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Staff Officer to the Chief Secretary, Executive Director of the World Bank-supported Jalanidhi Project, Additional Director, Municipal Commissioner, Sub Collector, and Assistant Secretary.
