Chandigarh, July 26 (APAC Media): The Haryana government carried out a major administrative reshuffle late on Thursday night, issuing transfer and fresh posting orders for 7 IAS officers, 1 IFS officer, and 10 HCS officers.
According to the orders issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, several key departments and districts have been assigned new officers.
Rohtak Division has got a new Commissioner, with IAS Monika Malik appointed to the post. She replaces IAS Rajeev Ratan.
The reshuffle also brings significant changes in the Higher Education, Technical Education, Transport, Environment, and Urban Local Bodies departments.
In a key decision, the Haryana government has granted IAS (Senior Scale) status to four important posts.
These include the Administrator of HSVP Faridabad, Additional Director, Urban Estate Faridabad, Commissioner, Karnal Municipal Corporation, and District Municipal Commissioner, Hisar.
Officers posted to these positions will now enjoy responsibilities and status equivalent to those of a Senior Scale IAS officer.
Separate posting orders for HCS officer Shashi Vasundhara will be issued later.
For the time being, she has been directed to report to the Chief Secretary’s Office.
New Responsibilities of the 7 IAS Officers in Haryana
- IAS Monika Malik has been appointed Divisional Commissioner, Rohtak, replacing Rajeev Ratan.
- IAS Neeraj has been appointed Administrator, HSVP Faridabad, and Additional Director, Urban Estate Faridabad.
- IAS Saloni Sharma has been appointed Commissioner, Karnal Municipal Corporation.
- IAS Hitesh Kumar Meena has been given additional charge as Additional Secretary, Finance Department.
- IAS C. Jayasharadha has been appointed District Municipal Commissioner, Hisar, Commissioner, Hisar Municipal Corporation, and Additional CEO, Integrated Manufacturing Cluster.
- IAS Prabhjot Singh has been appointed Director General, State Transport, Haryana.
- IAS Virendra Kumar Dahiya has been appointed Director General and Special Secretary, Higher Education Department, with additional charge of the Technical Education Department.
