Shimla, July 25 (APAC Media): In an administrative reshuffle by the Himachal Pradesh government, IAS Amarjeet Singh gets additional charge of the Home Department.
The order was issued by Chief Secretary Kamlesh Kumar Pant, assigning new responsibilities to two senior IAS officers while retaining their existing roles.
IAS Amarjeet Singh gets Home Department charge
IAS Amarjeet Singh (2010 batch) is currently handling the Cooperation and Town & Country Planning (TCP) departments.
With the new order, he will now oversee the Home Department as additional responsibility.
He will function under the overall supervision of the Additional Chief Secretary (Home).
IAS Ashish Singmar also gets additional responsibility
IAS Ashish Singmar (2008 batch) is currently Secretary to the Chief Minister and also handles the Digital Technologies and Governance Department.
He will now manage Animal Husbandry along with his existing responsibilities.
The state government said the decision has been taken to ensure better coordination between departments and smooth administrative functioning.
