Bhopal, June 17 (APAC Media): The Madhya Pradesh government has transferred 29 IAS officers including IAS Alok Kumar Singh.
The reshuffle includes several senior officials. New responsibilities have been assigned across many key departments.
The changes affect the Revenue, Health, Education, Urban Development and Chief Minister’s Secretariat. The General Administration Department issued the transfer orders.
Alok Kumar Singh Moved from CM Secretariat
One of the biggest changes involves IAS Alok Kumar Singh. He has been shifted from the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
Singh was serving as Secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. He was also holding additional charge of the Mines Department.
Under the new orders, he has been appointed Inspector General of Registration and Superintendent of Stamps.
Aniruddha Mukherjee Gets Additional Environment Charge
Senior officer IAS Aniruddha Mukherjee has been given additional charge of the Environment Department.
He will serve as Additional Chief Secretary, Environment Department. He has also been appointed Environment Commissioner and Director General of ECO.
The new responsibilities add to his role in overseeing environmental policy and related initiatives in the state.
Dr E. Ramesh Kumar Gets Revenue Department
IAS Dr E. Ramesh Kumar has been appointed Principal Secretary, Revenue Department.
He has also been given charge as Relief Commissioner and Rehabilitation Commissioner.
Dr Kumar will continue to handle the departments related to backward classes, minorities, and nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes.
His new role gives him charge of several important areas of administration.
Mukesh Chand Gupta Gets Jail Department
Senior officer IAS Mukesh Chand Gupta has been appointed Principal Secretary, Jail Department.
He will continue to serve as Member of the Revenue Board in Gwalior. He will now oversee the state’s prison administration as well.
Vivek Kumar Porwal Takes Charge of Mineral Resources
IAS Vivek Kumar Porwal has been appointed Principal Secretary, Mineral Resources Department.
The department is important for the state’s economy. It is also one of Madhya Pradesh’s major sources of revenue.
