Noida, July 27 (APAC Media): Navratna defence public sector undertaking Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) reported an 8.2% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit at ₹1,048 crore for the quarter ended June 2026, compared with ₹969 crore in the corresponding period last year.
On a sequential basis, however, consolidated net profit declined 52.4% from ₹2,203 crore reported in the March quarter (Q4FY26).
Revenue from operations during the quarter rose 25.3% year-on-year to ₹5,533 crore, against ₹4,417 crore in the same quarter last year.

Compared with the previous quarter, revenue declined 45.6% from ₹10,177 crore.
BEL’s earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at ₹1,389 crore in Q1FY26, up from ₹1,240 crore a year ago, registering a growth of around 12%. However, EBITDA margin moderated to 25.11% during the quarter from 28% in the year-ago period.
The company’s order book stood at ₹72,258 crore as of July 1, 2026, providing strong revenue visibility for the coming quarters, BEL said in a regulatory filing.
During the quarter, BEL secured an order worth ₹572 crore for the supply of communication equipment, avionics, encryptors, tank subsystems, electronic voting machines (EVMs), batteries, components, upgrades, spares and related services.
The company had earlier in late June received another order worth ₹1,081 crore, comprising communication equipment, radars, CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) protection systems, seekers, avionics, upgrades, spares and associated services.
