Kerala Govt Transfers 14 IAS Officers; IAS Prem Krishnan S Appointed Joint Secretary, Water Resources Dept

Thiruvananthapuram, July 18 (APAC Media): As part of the latest administrative reshuffle, the Kerala government has transferred 14 IAS officers, including IAS Prem Krishnan S.

Krishnan has been appointed as the Joint Secretary of the Water Resources Department. He will also serve as the Managing Director (MD) of the Kerala Water Authority.

Krishnan previously served as the Registrar of Cooperative Societies.

List of other transfers

IAS Puneet Kumar, Resident Commissioner, Kerala House, New Delhi, has been given full additional charge (FAC) of matters connected with interstate water in the Water Resources Department.
IAS Minhaj Alam, Additional Chief Secretary, Home and Vigilance Department, has been assigned the FAC of the Industries (Coir) Department, in addition to his existing role. He has been relieved of the additional charges of the Sports and Youth Affairs, Zoos, Museums, Archaeology, and Archives departments.
IAS Prasanth N, Special Secretary, has been given independent charge as Special Secretary in charge of the Sports and Youth Affairs, Zoos, Museums, Archaeology, and Archives departments.
IAS Dr Sharmila Mary Joseph, Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department, has been given the FAC of the Ayush Department.
IAS Suhas S, Special Secretary, Water Resources Department, will now also hold additional charge as the Special Secretary of the Housing Department and MD of the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KIIDC), in addition to his existing roles.
IAS Inbasekar K, currently MD of the Kerala Water Authority, has been transferred and posted as the Director of the Cultural Affairs Department in the newly created ex-cadre post. He will also hold FAC as Registrar of Co-operative Societies and Additional Project Director of the Kerala Climate Resilient Agri-Value Chain Modernisation Project (KERA).
IAS Dr Sriram V, Director of Agriculture, has been given full additional charge as MD of the Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence (KASE).
IAS Sufiyan Ahmed, Director of Employment and Training and MD of KASE, has been transferred and posted as Director of Urban Affairs. He will continue to hold the FAC chief executive officer (CEO) of Smart City Thiruvananthapuram Ltd. and Director of Employment and Training
IAS Alex Varghese, Commissioner, Housing, has been given additional charge as Mission Director of the Resilient Kerala Program-for-Results (PforR) Additional Financing Programme (Coastal Financing).
IAS D Dharmalashri, Director of the Scheduled Castes Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary in the Local Self-Government Department. She will also hold FAC as Deputy Project Director of the Kerala Solid Waste Management Project (KSWMP).
IAS Suraj Shaji, Staff Officer to the Chief Secretary, has been relieved from the posts of Director of Urban Affairs and Mission Director of the Resilient Kerala PforR Additional Financial Programme. He will continue to hold FAC as Mission Director of AMRUT.
IAS Hima K, Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, has been given the FAC as Director of the Scheduled Castes Development Department.
IAS Apurva Tripathi, Director of Panchayats, has been given the FAC as the Project Director of the Information Kerala Mission (IKM), in addition to her existing responsibilities.
