Focus on critical minerals

The partnership will also facilitate the exchange of technical expertise, promote knowledge sharing and undertake capacity-building initiatives to enhance capabilities in the segment.
The two organisations will further explore opportunities across the mining value chain to support a stable and sustainable supply of critical minerals for India.
Supporting energy transition
The collaboration is aligned with India’s broader strategy to secure access to minerals that are vital for renewable energy, electric mobility, advanced manufacturing, and energy storage.Â
These resources are considered essential for accelerating the country’s clean energy transition while reducing dependence on external supply chains and strengthening long-term energy security.
