Noida, July 17 (APAC Media): AdGurilla has appointed marketing leader Nitu Sharma to its leadership team.
She joins as Strategic Growth Partner and Fractional CMO. The move comes as the offline advertising startup looks to scale its AI-driven marketplace model.
About AdGurilla’s Market Play
AdGurilla operates as an offline advertising network, working to convert fragmented physical spaces into a structured, AI-powered media marketplace. The company is targeting the Out-of-Home advertising sector, projected to touch $56.4 billion globally in 2026, with a particular focus on Digital Out-of-Home (OOH) media, expected to reach $18.7 billion this year and growing at 7.2% — already accounting for nearly a third of total OOH spend.
Sharma’s Mandate
In her new role, Sharma will lead go-to-market strategy, brand positioning, lead generation systems, and strategic partnerships with brands, agencies, and inventory partners. She will also drive AdGurilla’s upcoming Seed and Pre-Series A fundraising efforts, working to strengthen investor communication and the company’s growth narrative.
Founder Harsh Vardhan Berwal said Sharma’s expertise in enterprise marketing and revenue-focused growth would help sharpen the company’s market positioning as it scales.
Background and Experience
Sharma brings over two decades of experience across technology, life sciences, manufacturing, and information management. A computer science engineer by training with a postgraduate marketing degree from UCLA, she previously led global marketing and demand generation at RMSI, and held senior roles at Tata Consultancy Services and Iron Mountain. She has been recognised among the “Marketing Mavericks” in both 2024 and 2025.
What It Signals
The appointment reflects a broader pattern among early-stage startups bringing in fractional C-suite leadership to accelerate growth without the overhead of full-time executive hires — a trend likely to gain traction as more Indian startups pursue capital-efficient scaling paths.
