New Delhi, July 22(APAC Media): OnePlus could bring its upcoming Android 17-based ColorOS 17 update to several older and newer smartphones, according to a new leak.
A list shared by tipster Yogesh Brar on X suggests that devices including the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus Nord 4 may be eligible for the ColorOS 17 update when it rolls out in India. The update is expected to mark the beginning of OnePlus’ transition from OxygenOS to Oppo’s ColorOS in select global markets.
The leaked list includes flagship models such as the OnePlus 11, OnePlus Open, OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, OnePlus 13, OnePlus 13R, OnePlus 13s, OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15R. If accurate, the update would extend software support to devices launched more than three years ago.
The leak also points to support for multiple Nord series smartphones. These include the OnePlus Nord 4, Nord 5, Nord CE 5, Nord 6, Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite.
The report comes shortly after OnePlus confirmed plans to transition its smartphones from OxygenOS to ColorOS in several markets outside China. The company said the move will begin with the ColorOS 17 release, although it has not announced an official rollout schedule or a final list of supported devices.
OnePlus smartphones sold in China already run ColorOS. Since the company has not officially confirmed the leaked device list, the information should be treated as preliminary until an official announcement is made.
