Noida, July 9 (APAC Media): The rupee declined 4 paise to 95.52 against the US dollar in early trading on Thursday, amid a cautious trend in domestic equities and demand for the American currency.
At the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee opened on a weak note and moved in a narrow range as traders assessed global market cues and currency movements.
Forex dealers said the domestic currency was weighed down by dollar buying interest from importers and uncertainty in global markets.

Movements in crude oil prices, foreign capital flows, and the dollar index are expected to guide the rupee’s trajectory during the session.
The rupee had closed at its previous level against the US dollar in the last trading session.
Market participants are closely watching global economic developments and central bank signals for further direction in currency markets.
