New Delhi, August 18(APAC Media): Rajat Pandit has joined Anthropic to lead its Applied AI efforts in India, moving from Google Cloud after nearly eight years with the company.
From Google Cloud To Anthropic
Pandit spent much of his career at Google Cloud, working across technical sales and customer-facing technology roles. His work involved collaborating with product, engineering and sales teams and helping organisations evaluate and deploy cloud and AI technologies.
His experience has largely been at the intersection of technology and business, with a focus on understanding how emerging technologies can address specific organisational needs.
The move to Anthropic comes as companies across India are looking beyond early generative AI experiments and assessing how the technology can be used in day-to-day business operations.
Focus On Enterprise AI Adoption
At Anthropic, his role will centre on Applied AI in India. The focus is expected to be on helping enterprises and institutions identify practical AI use cases and move from experimentation to wider deployment.
For businesses, this includes areas such as software development, automation, customer operations, data analysis and AI-assisted decision-making.
Anthropic has been expanding its enterprise presence as competition in the AI market grows. Its Claude AI platform is positioned for business and professional use, putting enterprise adoption at the centre of the company’s growth strategy.
