New Delhi, Sep 24(APAC Media): Britannia Industries has appointed Rejin Surendran as Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO). He will take charge of the role from October 1, 2026.
Rejin Surendran Joins Britannia
Surendran joins Britannia after serving as Global CIO at Wipro Enterprises, where he was responsible for the company’s global technology strategy. His experience covers enterprise IT, digital transformation, ERP and supply chain technology.
He previously worked with The Coca-Cola Company’s Bottling Investments Group, where he led the Digital and ERP Centre of Excellence. He also spent 13 years at Unilever, holding technology roles across areas including IT, manufacturing and supply chain.
Focus On Digital And Enterprise Technology
Surendran’s appointment comes as large FMCG companies continue to use technology across supply chains, manufacturing, distribution and customer-facing operations.
At Britannia, his role will bring together digital and information technology responsibilities. His experience in ERP, digital transformation and supply chain technology could be relevant as the company expands its use of technology across business operations.
Leadership Transition
Surendran will succeed Susheel Navanale, Britannia’s current Chief Information Officer, who is scheduled to retire on September 30, 2026.
Surendran holds a Master of Management from IIT Bombay and a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NIT Warangal.
