New Delhi, Sep 24(APAC Media): Motorola has introduced the Signature 27 5G at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit 2026, positioning the smartphone around Qualcomm’s latest flagship mobile platform.
The Signature 27 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, which is based on a 2nm process. Motorola is also focusing on camera hardware, AI features and audio as key parts of the new flagship.
The smartphone features a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 910 main sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, along with an ultra-wide camera. The phone also includes a circular ring flash as part of its rear camera design.
Motorola has added a Video Enhancement Engine that uses AI to process video and adjust visual elements such as colour. The camera system is also integrated with the phone’s broader AI features.
The Signature 27 will run Motorola’s MotoOS based on Android 17. Google Gemini will power several of the device’s AI functions, including tools for creating videos from prompts, images and existing footage. Motorola has also mentioned music-generation capabilities through Google’s Lyria.
Another major change is the audio system. The Signature 27 is the first Motorola smartphone to feature audio technology developed with Bang & Olufsen under the companies’ new partnership.
Motorola has also committed to seven years of operating system and security updates for the device.
The Signature 27 will be available in PANTONE Coal Smoke and PANTONE Capulet Olive. Motorola has not yet revealed the final price or confirmed the retail sale date. The company is expected to share global availability details later in 2026.
