New Delhi, Sep 25(APAC Media): Priyagold is shifting its sales and distribution operations to Salesforce as the FMCG company looks to bring its field teams and distributors onto a single digital platform.
The company said the Salesforce deployment will cover around 2,000 field sales representatives and 3,500 distributors. The move is aimed at standardising sales processes, improving access to operational data and reducing the use of multiple systems across its distribution network.
Salesforce Sales Automation
Priyagold will use Salesforce Sales Force Automation (SFA) to manage day-to-day activities of its field sales teams. The platform will allow representatives to record market activity while giving managers a consolidated view of sales execution and performance.
The company will also use Salesforce’s distribution management capabilities to bring distributor-related information into the same system. This is expected to give Priyagold a common view of sales and distribution activity across its network.
FMCG Digital Transformation
The Salesforce deployment follows a wider technology upgrade at Priyagold. Over the past three years, the company has worked on its ERP systems, internal processes and data-driven operations as it looks to modernise its business infrastructure.
For Priyagold, the latest move puts its sales and distribution network at the centre of that technology transition. The company said it plans to expand the use of analytics, automation and AI as adoption of the platform increases.
Salesforce said the collaboration will help connect field execution with business data and provide greater visibility across Priyagold’s sales operations.
The development highlights the growing use of CRM, sales automation and digital distribution tools in India’s FMCG sector, where companies manage large networks of field sales teams, distributors and retail outlets.
