The platform, operated by Growwcap Fintech Pvt. Ltd., comes as India’s MSME sector continues to face a significant financing shortfall. UpTik estimates the country’s MSME credit gap at around ₹60 lakh crore.
UpTik 2.0 shifts its financing and investment experience to a mobile-led interface. The company said the platform is also aimed at expanding access beyond major metropolitan areas.
The new platform includes an AI-enabled voice support feature that can communicate with users in multiple languages. It is intended to help users navigate the investment process and access information more easily.
The platform also adds a personal investment dashboard. Investors can track deployed capital, returns, interest earned and maturity timelines from a single interface. It provides company-level information on businesses linked to invoice-backed investment opportunities.
Another change is the introduction of pro-rata interest calculations, under which returns are calculated according to the actual period for which an investor’s capital remains deployed.
The UpTik 2.0 app is now available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The platform was launched by Anand Chari, former Additional General Manager – SME & Startups Business Development at BSE.
UpTik said the redesigned platform brings investment discovery, company information and portfolio tracking into one interface, with the broader focus remaining on digital access to invoice financing for MSMEs.
