Hyderabad: Ever since the Government of India announced the National Education Policy-2020 to bring much needed reform in country’s education system, a lot has been discussed on various platforms.
However, what remains crucial is its implementation in the states and how the respective state governments and stake holders of the education system look at its execution.
The youngest state of India, Telangana, known for its proactive governance and innovations is quite optimistic towards a change for better.
In this backdrop, FICCI Telangana State Council, Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) and APAC News Network as the media partner are organizing a special virtual event, aimed at making Telangana a hub for quality education.
This need-of-the-hour event, with well-designed themes, is scheduled on September 19, 2020 from 10 am onwards.
Participation from eminent speakers including key policy makers, intellectuals, experts of the education eco-system are set to participate and deliberate to support policy agenda settings to meet future challenges.
Telangana IT and MAU&D Minister, KT Rama Rao, Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog Mission Director, Govt of India, Ramanan Ramanathan, Telangana Special Chief Secretary, Education, Chitra Ramchandran, IT and Industries, Principal Secretary, Jayesh Ranjan, Commissioner of Collegiate and Technical Education, Navin Mittal, Sangita Reddy, President FICCI and Jt. MD, Apollo Hospital Group among others would be joining as key speakers.
Sudhakar Rao, Co-chair for Education Committee, FICCI Telangana State Council (also Director at ICFAI Group) says “The expected outcome of this event is to arrive at ‘The 10 Action Points’ in our journey for implementing NEP2020. It is meant for all the stakeholders like Govt., Regulatory Bodies, Institutions, Tech Enablers, Industry, et al.
Given the fact that the Govt. of Telangana has made Innovation a key pursuit in its growth story, across all its activities, especially in the areas of Education, Healthcare, Technology, Sustainability et al, it is but natural that Innovation shall be our mainstay and will be reflected in the forthcoming event.”
