New Delhi: Though physical attendance is not mandatory, Delhi schools are all set to open for all classes from next Monday. This was announced by Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi on Wednesday.
Sisodia said that no more than 50 percent of the students will be called to attend physical classes at a time. Schools will need to ensure that all of their staff is vaccinated, with at least 98 percent have had their first vaccine shot.
“Physical attendance will be voluntary and parents will not be forced to send their children to school as classes will be held in a blended mode with both physical and online classes being held simultaneously”, he added.
Recently, West Bengal government too announced reopening of schools and colleges from November 16.
