1) What’s the idea behind LogMeIn rebranding into GoTo?
LogMeIn was established to support remote workers. With the businesses increasingly pivoting towards digitalised work culture for the last two years, we felt it is imperative to provide them with robust, agile and flexible remote working solutions that can successfully help them to not only maintain business continuity but to scale as they grow in the new normal. GoTo’s launch goes far beyond a new name and logo. We are launching a simplified product portfolio with a unified experience and two flagship products: The all-new IT management and support product, GoTo Resolve, which unifies our world-class remote access and support solutions into an all-new conversational entry point and ticketing system through a single unified application; and a new unified-communications-as-a-service (UCaaS) GoTo Connect experience, which has the best of our meetings, virtual events and telephony solutions brought together in a unified experience for our users.
This evolution comes after listening to our nearly 800k strong customer base. Their lives and their businesses have been forever changed by the pandemic, and GoTo is committed to empowering these SMB customers. It is helping weather pandemic-induced turbulence to adapt to the new normal with simplicity and ease through its flexible-work tools, while focusing on affordability for those businesses.
2) How do you think GoTo will benefit the Indian Market? How has the adoption of LogMeIn solutions increased during the pandemic?
Currently, the SMB base in India stands at a whopping 75 million, and this number is expected to grow to 105 million in the next five years, with digitalization playing a key role in this growth. Although digitalization is making inroads into most verticals, over 30% of the 75 million SMBs currently operating in India remain untouched or barely touched by digital. Most of these SMBs are in traditional segments like Manufacturing, Retail, NGOs, etc. While many of these segments are witnessing certain digitalization forms, they are far from digital-native SMBs. This clearly is a vast opportunity for technology companies like ours to help the rest with their digital transformation journey.
The unified and simplified GoTo portfolio is ideally suited with the way SMBs across India and the world convene their operations. Our state-of-the-art integrated, easy-to-use and easy-to-manage solutions will also help companies streamline their processes in the new normal while also allowing them to improve and position their portfolio better among organizations by modernizing their communications, collaboration, and IT solutions.
We have users and customers from almost all sectors, including micro-businesses and large enterprises of the country. Many of the leading Global System Integrators in India are using Rescue, our remote tool to support their large employee base and their enterprise customers. With our new brand and new products, we are doubling down on our commitment to support SMBs.
During the pandemic, we witnessed more and more professionals inching towards virtual meetings, conferences, and webinars to maintain business continuity during these turbulent times. As we look forward, we know that a full return to the office is not something that employees want, and we want to make it as easy as possible for IT teams to enable their workers to collaborate and support their teams from wherever they are working. The newly launched GoTo Resolve will be tremendously appealing to the Indian market. It will help customers work from any corner of the world, across any device, securely without any friction.
3) Can you brief me more on Evolution of LogMeIn Business Model with your two new flagship products: GoTo Resolve and GoTo Connect?
We are really excited to have unified our portfolio and launched these two new products with incredible new user experiences. We are streamlining our product portfolio with a brand-new IT management and support tool, GoTo Resolve and a totally new experience for our Unified-communications-as-a-service tool, GoTo Connect. We are also bringing together our support and collaboration products through a single application and admin system.
GoTo Resolve streamlines IT support like never before, unifying GoTo’s world-class remote access, management, and support solutions into an all-new, conversational entry point, and ticketing system. With enterprise-grade zero-trust security, consumer-grade ease of use and the ability to be activated in minutes allowing employees to receive consistent support whether they are in the office or miles away with the ability to meet any user on any device. Best of all, we are giving GoTo Resolve away for free for small businesses that need it most with multiple tiers, including a robust freemium offering.
In addition to it, we announced a new GoTo Connect experience. The company’s UCaaS portfolio has evolved to provide a completely new, comprehensive experience bringing together GoTo’s collaboration solutions in a single unified application. The new GoTo App is now available to all customers, and today includes cloud telephony, meetings, messaging, training and contact center capabilities, with additional features and functionality coming soon.
4) What makes GoTo a unique flagship product?

5) What is your future roadmap with respect to GoTo as a separate brand?
Targeting the expansion of our operational ambit and domain expertise, we are committed to expanding our portfolio and etching a futuristic and workable WFH model that can enable India’s resolve towards becoming a high technology center. We are exceedingly pleased to have delivered our latest GoTo Resolve product line, which can assist SMB organizations around the globe in streamlining their processes. We are sure that this newest launch will invoke a stupendous reception amongst our users and stakeholders across the country. Riding on the heels of our superior and customized product solutions, we aim to expand our business footprint presence across the country by diving into novel geographies and untapped markets. We are also kick-starting the all-new GoTo Partner Network to strengthen emergent partner ecosystems with additional ways to attract users and increase revenue.
Amid a burgeoning focus, existing as well as new partners can now profit from additional investments in marketing, new integrations, and support for multiple partner types (MSPs, Resellers, and Distributors). The program comprises a formalized tiering model with associated benefits relative to performance to create additional revenue opportunities for providing remote support, endpoint management, and UCaaS and CCaaSproducts to SMBs.
6) Can you share a few points around the Remote Support Portfolio for India?
