Lucknow: One of its kind, Divyang Park is coming up in Lucknow for children & persons with disabilities under the Lucknow Smart City Project. The Lucknow Municipal Corporation is planning to open Uttar Pradesh’s first Divyang Park.
Smart City Ltd Add’l CEO Pankaj Singh has said INR 11 Cr has already been approved for this project which will be spread over two-and-a-half-acre land with all kinds of facilities for the disabled. There will be experts to teach and train the kids on personality development.
As per the media reports, the park will have facilities for people having 21 different types of disabilities to learn and enjoy at the venue without the support of a caretaker.
The park will have gadgets, systems, sensors, sounds and mechanisms that will help people with disabilities walk, dance, play, sit and listen to music or do whatever activity they want to do. The park will also be equipped with facilities for education, information, entertainment and sports.
