New Delhi: IAS officer Vipul Ujwal was appointed as the Director in the Ministry of Panchayati Raj on Friday. His posting was approved by the Central Government on Friday.
The Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) issued an order on September 22, which informed that Ujwal had been appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS). He was selected for central deputation for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Ujwal is an IAS officer from the 2009-batch, Punjab cadre. “He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Ministry of Panchayati Raj,” the order said.
