Chennai: A minor administrative reshuffle has taken place in Tamil Nadu, according to an order issued by the Chief Secretary Shiv Das Meena.
Rashmi Siddharth Zagade IAS officer from the 2010 batch, has been posted as the new Collector of Chennai. Zagade is replacing M. Aruna, an IAS officer from the 2016 batch, who has been appointed Collector of Nilgiris.
Senior IAS officer from the 2006 batch, Hanish Chabbra, has been appointed Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited.
R. Nanthagopal IAS will be assuming duties as the Commissioner of Archives and Historical research. IAS officer S.P. Amrith, 2013-batch, has been posted as the Joint Commissioner of Land Administration.
2019-batch IAS officer, Chitra Vijayan, will be taking over as Chief Operating Officer of Tamil Nadu’s Rural Transformation Project. Vijayan will also additionally serve as the Project Director of Tamil Nadu Women Employment and Safety Programme.
