New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has unveiled its new Executive Programme for Tech Product Management, responding to the rising demand for skilled leaders in the technology sector.
The program, tailored for mid-career professionals, spans five months and is delivered online. It covers essential modules such as Product Ideation, Strategy, Product Roadmap, Product Design, Discovery, Development, Marketing, and more.
The curriculum, a blend of IIT Delhi’s academic prowess and industry insights, targets specific challenges in the rapidly evolving tech landscape. It aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills crucial for success in tech product management.
Dr. Biswajita Parida, Assistant Professor at IIT Delhi, emphasised the program’s commitment to closing the gap between technical proficiency and managerial acumen. Participants will gain insights into non-core functions essential for supporting tech product operations and develop strategic approaches, he added further.
The demand for product managers is projected to grow by 10% in 2024, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, driven by data-driven business decisions and industry-wide digital transformation.
The Executive Programme for Tech Product Management will utilise a state-of-the-art Interactive Learning (IL) platform and Direct-to-Device (D2D) mode. Participants will have the opportunity for a one-day immersion program at the prestigious institution.
