Guwahati: The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), the country’s largest integrated power authority, has inked an MoU with Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), a subsidiary of Oil India Limited (OIL). The collaboration aims to explore new opportunities in the development of a bamboo-based Bio-Refinery at NTPC Bongaigaon, Assam. It is also a move towards India’s Net-Zero goals and the holistic development of the Northeastern Seven Sister states.
