Pune: Nidhu Saxena, currently an Executive Director at Union Bank of India, has been named the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of Bank of Maharashtra. The Central Government recently approved his appointment for a three-year term starting from March 27, 2024.
Saxena has more than 26 years of banking experience, starting his career with the Bank of Baroda and later working at UCO Bank and Union Bank of India. At Union Bank, he served in various positions, like Branch Head, Zonal Head, and Vertical Head.
Additionally, he has served on the boards of Union Bank of India (UK) and Union Asset Management Company. He is also a member of the Governing Body of the Indian Institute of Bank Management, Guwahati, and the Academic Council of the National Institute of Bank Management, Pune.
