Mumbai: The Maharashtra government has recalled IAS officer Puja Khedkar from her position as Additional Collector in Pune to the IAS academy for further training.
Khedkar, who has served in various capacities within the state administration, will return to the academy to enhance her skills and professional competencies. The government aims to ensure that officers are well-prepared to meet the demands of their roles through continuous training.
This decision follows allegations of misuse of power and privileges during her probationary period. Khedkar, a 2023 batch officer, reportedly demanded special accommodations not typically afforded to trainee officers, including a separate office, house, car, and additional staff.
