Punjab: IAS Dhirendra Kumar Tiwari to take additional charge as the Principal Secretary in the Local Government

Chandigarh: In a recent order by the government of Punjab, three IAS officers are mandated to take additional charges. Among the reshuffled officers is IAS Dhirendra Kumar Tiwari who will take additional charge as the Principal Secretary in the Local Government. Tiwari will take reins of the position along with his present assignment, from 18th July to 8th August 2024. He is an IAS officer from the 1994 batch. Along with Tiwari’s appointment, two more IAS officers were given additional charges.

IAS Ravi Bhagat, from the 2006 batch, will take additional charge as the Principal Secretary, Punjab in addition to his present assignments. Currently, he is assigned as Secretary of the Punjab Rural Development Board and New & Renewable Energy Sources.

IAS Priyank Bharti (2001 batch) is appointed the Principal Secretary in the Department of Health & Family Welfare. This move is in addition to his current appointment as Administrative Secretary of the Public Works Department (Building and Roads) and Administrative Secretary of Medical Education and Research.
