Mumbai: EndureAir has partnered with five Defence Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) to set up advanced testing facilities under the Defence Ministry’s DIT Scheme. These facilities will be established within the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor (UPDIC) to advance unmanned aerial systems (UAS) technology.
- This initiative aims to
- Boost defence production
- Reduce reliance on imports by providing the necessary infrastructure for testing
- Certifying UAS and their subsystems to international standards.
The five Defence PSUs involved are Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, Bharat Electronics Ltd, Gliders India Ltd, Yantra India Ltd, and BEML, making EndureAir the only private company in the collaboration. The partnership is expected to significantly enhance the global competitiveness of Indian-made UAVs, marking a key milestone for both EndureAir and the broader drone industry in India.
