Bengaluru, September 16 (APAC Media): The Karnataka Government has transferred IAS Patil Yalagouda Shivanagouda and appointed him as Managing Director of Karnataka Silk Industries.
Patil is a 2012 batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre.
Before the latest posting, Shivanagouda was serving as Director, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Commerce and Industries Department, Bengaluru.
Yalagouda Shivanagouda’s New Role
As Managing Director of Karnataka Silk Industries, Shivanagouda will oversee the functioning of the state government organisation associated with Karnataka’s silk industry.
He has held several administrative positions across different departments during his career.
His previous assignments include:
- Director, MSME, Commerce and Industries Department, Bengaluru
- Director, National Horticulture Mission, Karnataka
- Special Secretary to Government, Agriculture Department, Food Processing and Harvest Technology
- Commissioner, Agriculture Department
- Commissioner, Survey, Settlement and Land Records
The latest transfer adds another key administrative responsibility to Shivanagouda’s career in the Karnataka cadre.
