Bengaluru, July 21 (APAC Media): The Karnataka government has transferred seven IAS officers in a fresh administrative reshuffle, appointing IAS Nakul S S as Secretary to the Chief Minister and IAS Yatish R as Deputy Secretary 1 in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
The reshuffle also includes key postings in the Finance, Tourism, Skill Development and Rural Development departments through transfers and additional charge assignments.
IAS Nakul S S And IAS Yatish R Move to CMO
Nakul S S (2010 batch) has been shifted from the Finance Department, where he served as Secretary (Expenditure), to become Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Yatish R (2021 batch), currently CEO of Zilla Panchayat, Bengaluru Urban, has been appointed Deputy Secretary 1 to the Chief Minister.
He will continue to hold charge as CEO of the Zilla Panchayat.
Finance, Tourism Get New Responsibilities
Following Nakul S S’s transfer, Abhiram G. Sankar (2011 batch) has been given the concurrent charge of Additional Secretary (Expenditure) and Secretary (Expenditure) in the Finance Department.
He is currently Managing Director of the Karnataka Mining Environment Restoration Corporation (KMERC).
In the Tourism Department, Dr Ram Prasath Manohar V (2010 batch) has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Tourism Department.
He will continue as Managing Director of Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL).
Shivaprasad PR (2013 batch), Managing Director of Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC), has also been given the concurrent charge of Commissioner of Tourism.
